Pavilion in Rajapruek Royal Park (Thailand)
Chiang Mai is a city located on the Ping River in the northern part of Thailand. In 2006, due to the birthday and anniversary of the accession to the throne of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, an International Garden Exhibition was organized there. The exhibition was visited by millions of people, therefore it was decided to open a large park permanently. It was named Rajapruek Royal Park. Visitors may walk around the park on foot, travel by bus, rented bicycle or golf cart. Apart from being a tourist attraction, the Royal Park is also an important research center for the development of agriculture.
