Traditional Peruvian costumes are associated with the untold wealth of colors and patterns and it is impossible not to admire them. Patterned caps and hats, ponchos and sweaters made of alpaca decorated with intricate ornaments; scarves, blankets and tablecloths in all the colors of the rainbow, as well as grand bales of various fabrics are easiest to get at local markets. Popular fairs are ogranized in such towns as Pisac and Chinchero, where tourists willingly buy unique souvenirs. Fabrics and traditional Indian clothing are also valuable exhibits in museums located in Lima, the capital of Peru.
