The Marokopa is a river flowing through the Waikato region of the North Island belonging to New Zealand. There is a thirty-meter waterfall on the river. It is located in the heart of the forest and looks particularly beautiful just after rain. A special viewing platform allows visitors to take pictures of the waterfall. Its surroundings are famous for the complex of Waitomo Caves. Waitomo Glowworm Cave, where tourists may admire the population of "glowing warms", is the most popular.
