The Street changed the name a few time: to 1904 the street was called Wartenburger-Straße (Wartemborska street), next since 1904 name to be changed to Kaiser-Straße (Cesarska street). In 1945 name was changed to Stalin street, in 1956 was called Dąbrowszczaków street. Since 2017 the street is calling Erwina Kruka street.
