Prague swans on river Vltava (Czech Republic) online puzzle
Prague is the capital of Czech Republic. It was created due to the merger of five centers functioning from the Middle Ages. These are: Old Town, New Town, Josefov, Mala Strana and Hradcany (the residence of the Czech sovereign). Present day Prague was founded in 1784, however, the origins of human settlements in this area date back to 500 B.C., when it had been inhabited by Celtic tribes. The city is located on the river Vltava, where the Charles Bridge – one of the most famous Prague historic monuments can be found. Saint Francis of Assisi church, constructed by the Italian builders towards the end of 17th century, can be seen from the bridge.
