Mount Shuksan, which is located in the North Cascades National Park close to the Canadian border, is a glaciated massif. Its name comes from the language of the Lummi natives and means a “high peak”. The massif is 2783 meters high. Mount Shuksan is very often photographed from the spot, where it is possible to see its reflection in the Highwood Lake.
