In the past artificial flowers were made of natural materials – fabrics and colorful paper or blotting paper. Due to their durability, they were used mostly in order to decorate representative parts of dwellings, make wreaths and decorate clothes. Artificial flowers have been used mostly in those parts of the world in which there were no natural flowers due to climatic conditions. Today there is mass production of artificial flowers and they are sold all over the world. They are made of plastics with the use of modern technology and thanks to that they resemble their natural originals a lot.
