Štrbské Pleso at the foot of the Tatras (Slovakia) online puzzle
Štrbské Pleso is a town located in Slovakia, at the foot of the High Tatras, on the lake of the same name. Beautiful spruce forests set against the background of mountain peaks are characteristic for the local landscape. There is a well-known ski jump in the town. The pothole Štrbské Pleso Lake is located 1346 meters above the sea level. Tourists may sail a boat on the lake as well as admire the landscapes of the Tatra National Park. The lake is surrounded by spruces and dwarf mountain pines, there are also smaller water bodies near the lake - Slepé Pleso, Nové Štrbské Pleso and Štrbské Rybníky. There are also tourist trails of various levels of difficulty in the vicinity of the lake.
