The Mallard inhabits most of the Northern Hemisphere, but was introduced to Southeast Australia and New Zealand. She's not in danger. A hunting species in the period from August 15 to December 21. Domestic ducks come from the mallard. The oldest confirmed age of the cross is 29 years.
