Puszcza Romincka is one of the most wild and picturesque forest complexes in Poland. It lies in the north-eastern part of the country, in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, at the border with the Kaliningrad District. Part of the forest is on the Russian side. It is an area with exceptional natural values - there are rare species of plants and animals, among others Wolves, lynx, cranes or black storks. The landscape is diversified by river valleys, peat bogs and moraine hills. Due to its richness of nature, some of the forest was protected in the form of the Rominck Forest Landscape Park. The Forest is also a place with an interesting historical background - in Eastern Prussia it was the favorite hunting area of Emperor Wilhelm II, to this day you can meet stone obeliski commemorating his hunting.
