The river Narew flows in the north-eastern part of Poland. The river is a right tributary of the Vistula river, which is 484 km long. The Narew is the border river, it flows between Poland and Belarus and has its source in the Bialowieża Forest. The mouth of the river is located in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. There are numerous shallows in the river and it flows in several riverbeds at the same time. Due to that it is a typically lowland anastomosing river. It flows through Ostrołęka, Pułtusk, Łomża and the village of Narew. The Narwia is a river where tourist may enjoy kayaking or yachting.
