Dillon Reservoir is an artificial lake located in the US state of Colorado. The reservoir is located in a picturesque area near Denver, at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It covers the area of almost fourteen square kilometers and the River Blue is its tributary. Dillon Reservoir is surrounded by famous ski resorts, hiking and biking paths and numerous places for camping. This artificial lake is the place where regattas and rainbow trout fishing are organized. It is possible to sail on a yacht on the waters of Dillon Reservoir as well as enjoy kayaking and dinghy rides.
