Druid Hill Park in Baltimore is one of the three oldest urban parks in the United States, it was founded in 1860 after the oldest park in Philadelphia and the famous Central Park in New York. Originally Druid Hill Park, as well as the two other parks, was on the outskirts of the city, however, the city grew so quickly that today the park is located in the center. It was designed by Howard Daniels for the inhabitants of the city – for that reason there are facilities such as pools, tennis courts, beautiful gardens and gazebos. To this day, Druid Hill is a perfect place for outdoor leisure and entertainment.
