Ďumbier is a mountain peak located in the Low Tatras range. It rises 2043 meters above sea level. Numerous postglacial caves and cirques can be observed in the granite rock. At the top of the mountain there is a two-armed cross. From the top of Ďumbier tourists may admire stunning views of the Slovak Tatras. The massif is located in the Low Tatras National Park and on its slopes you can see marmots and chamois. Interestingly, in the past iron, gold and antimonite ore mines were located in the hills of Ďumbier.
