Southern Alps (New Zealand) online puzzle
South Island is the largest island of New Zealand. The Southern Alps are located in its western part. The highest peak of the range is Mount Cook at 3,474 meters above sea level. In the Southern Alps there are also numerous mountain glaciers, including Tasman Glacier that is twenty-nine kilometers long. The spectacular landscapes of the Southern Alps can be admired while driving the Great Alpine Highway, which is considered one of the most beautiful car routes in the world.
