Water-lily is a plant that belongs to the Nymphaeaceae family, which occurs only on the northern hemisphere. Water-lilies, which are commonly called nenuphars, are water plants – their rhizomes grow at the bottom of reservoirs whereas their leaves and flowers flow on the surface. Water-lilies have two kinds of petals: yellow petals of a calyx and white petals of a corolla. It is estimated that there are 15 species of these beautiful plants.
