Violin and accompanying flowers can be considered as a metaphorical picture of two spheres – culture and nature. It seems that they are contrary to one another, however, if one observes these two spheres from a different perspective, there are more connections than it is possible to imagine. After all, instruments are made mostly from natural resources: violins are mostly made of spruce or sycamore wood, the highly valued bows are made with the use of Pernambuco wood and natural horsehair – it is best to use the one from a tail. Culture draws from the nature not only necessary resources but above all it draws inspirations.
