One of the few remnants of the medieval city walls of Kalisz is the Dorothy Tower. Built in the 14th century on a rectangular plan, in the 16th century it was converted into a semicircular one. It is 9.5 meters high and just over 5 meters wide. Currently, it houses the Center of Kalisz Fairy Tales and Legends. Its seat is not accidental - one of the city's legends is connected with the tower.
