The invention of telephone is undoubtedly connected with Alexander Graham Bell. Despite the fact that one of the first devices of this kind was created in the workshop of Antonio Meucci, it was too expensive for the Italian inventor to patent his invention. Yet another Bell’s competitor, Elisha Grey, was a few hours late in the patent office and in consequence he lost the fight for the right to call himself a telephone inventor.
