Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort is the skiing center located in the Little Cottonwood Canyon, near Salt Lake City, the capital of the state of Utah. The place can be visited during summer and winter, as it provides attractions not only for the lovers of skiing and snowboarding, but also for cyclists and anglers. The snow there is dry and powdery, and the lay of the land can be challenging even for the experienced skiers. Snowbird offers visitors chairlifts and the Aerial Tram as well as the ski school. There is another resort called Alta nearby. Skiers can purchase the pass that allows them to use the facilities of both resorts.
