The Museum of Czech Railways is located in the western part of the Czech Republic, in the village of Lužná near Rakovník. Among its valuable collections, there are numerous locomotives as well as freight wagons and passenger cars which show the history of railways. The Museum is situated on the site of the former locomotive shed, where you can explore halls and warehouses where trains were repaired. Visitors may also enjoy an outdoor ride on the narrow gauge railway wagon. The Museum also exhibits classic cars, railway uniforms, a semaphore, tools, and even a wagon to transport beer. The Museum organizes numerous events, the main attraction of which is the passage of steam engines and locomotives with diesel engines.
