Rockport is a small town in the American county of Essex, Massachusetts. The town is located on the Cape Ann peninsula and it is surrounded on three sides of the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Rockport has nice parks and beaches as well as a marina full of small boats. The town hosts artists looking for inspiration almost all year round as Rockport - despite the constant influx of tourists – has preserved the atmosphere of a small fishing village. Bearskin Neck is the most frequently visited part of the town. There are traditional buildings but also quite a big number of pubs, shops and restaurants as well as a crowded promenade.
