Lago di Braies, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Dolomites, is located in South Tyrol. This body of water lies at a height of 1,494 meters above sea level, its depth reaches up to 36 meters. It is surrounded by snow-capped peaks, including 2 810-meter Mount Seekofel. The area attracts tourists with a very intense color of water and picturesque surroundings, encouraging walks, talking pictures and doing sports. There is a marina by the lake that offers renting canoes and boats from which visitors can admire the area.
