Poros is one of the Saronic Islands located in the Greek Attica. The island can be reached from the small town of Galatas on the Peloponnese or the port of Piraeus, which belongs to the Athens agglomeration. Port of Poros is located in the town of the same name, located on a prominently cape-shaped promontory. There is a bustling yacht marina, surrounded by taverns, clubs, cafes and souvenir shops. Many tourists are happy to sail on the picturesque Saronic Gulf, and also to the quay of the town of Galatas, separated from the coast by a narrow strait.
