Nicholas Triumphal Gates is a picturesque monument of Russian architecture, erected at the end of the 19th century in Vladivostok. The arch was built in honor of the arrival of the heir to the Russian throne, Tsarevich Nicholas, to the Far East, which is why it is often called the Arch of the Tsarevich. Today, the Nikolaevsky triumphal gates are one of the visiting cards of the seaside city. At the end of the 19th century, the future emperor traveled around the world and in 1891 sailed to Vladivostok. The city authorities wanted to solemnly celebrate this event, and therefore a beautiful triumphal arch was built near the Admiral's Quay. It was built according to the project of the city architect Konovalov from stone and brick in the best traditions of Russian-Byzantine architecture.
