Brighton Pier is located in the English city of Brighton. It is a historic pier, which is an extension of the Marine Palace. The construction of the pier started at the end of 19th century. The Brighton Pier was built as the third - and at the same time the largest pier in the city. Throughout years the pier was reconstructed a few times - one of the reconstructions took place in the 1970's after a great storm, which destroyed part of it. Today the pier is one of the most characteristic landmarks of Brighton and its important tourist attraction.
