Nice is a French city located picturesquely on the French Riviera, on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, in the vicinity of the Alps. Although the city is not very large, it is the second if it comes to the number of accommodation places for tourists and the second most frequently visited by tourists. Nice offers not only relaxation on the beach but it is also a well-known health spa and the center of sports and entertainment. Popular equestrian competitions, regattas and carnival take place in the city. There is a 7-kilometer promenade along the coast with cafes, restaurants, casinos and entertainment centers. There are also three ports in Nice – passenger, commercial and fishing.
