Brisbane is a big city on the east coast of Australia, which is the capital of the state of Queensland. Brisbane is situated right on the Pacific Ocean in the Moreton Bay. This is one of the largest cities in the country, in which the humid and warm climate is dominant. Brisbane is an important scientific, sports, cultural, industrial and commercial center. At the turn of the 1970s and 1980s the process of building modern skyscrapers was begun. The construction of high-rise residential and apartment buildings continues to the present day. Among Brisbane's highest buildings there are Aurora and Riparian Plaza - both are more than 200 meters high.
