New town hall in Hannover (Germany) online puzzle
The new town hall is the most monumental building in Hannover, central Germany. The town hall was built in the early 20th century as the seat of the city government in the very fashionable eclectic style, which combined the characteristics of various historical styles and for that reason it looks much older. The construction took 12 years and was completed in 1913. The building is almost 100 meters high and there is an observation deck placed on its dome, from which tourists may admire a panoramic view of the city. The deck can be reached by a unique lift, which has an arched course -parabolic, following the shape of the dome.
