Burano is a small town of fishing and lacework traditions, which is located on one of islands in the Venetian Lagoon. Many tourists, who visit Venice in large numbers, do not realize that only 7 kilometers from the city of lovers there is a beautiful town where each house has a different color. Facades of the Burano buildings create a colorful, vivid mosaic, which contrasts with the restrained “make-up” of the Venetian tenement houses. Walking along the streets of this fishing town is a feast for senses – not only for the sight, but also for taste and hearing, as Burano is famous for the local wine and seafood dishes.
