Beautiful white Lutheran cathedral is the most recognizable element of the panorama of the Finnish capital – Helsinki. The temple was built in the first half of the 19th century in accordance with the design by Carl Ludwig Engel. The church represents the neoclassical style and its domes dominate the Senate Square and Helsinki Market Square that is called Kauppatori by the Finns. The Market is located right on the Baltic Sea.
