Zakynthos is an island belonging to the archipelago of the Ionian Islands. Cape Skinari is its northernmost picturesque place. On a high cliff there are two historic windmills. One of these structures attracts attention with its white facade as well as blue frames of windows and the roof. The stone walls of the second one have preserved the warm color of sandstone. Both windmills have been adapted into tiny hotels. Near the windmills there are a traditional Greek tavern and an observation deck, and a bit further – a lighthouse from 1897. From Cape Skinari it is worth taking a trip to Blue Caves.
