Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest (Romania) online puzzle
The Romanian Athenaeum, i.e. the seat of the National Philharmonic Orchestra, is a beautiful building that is one of Bucharest's landmarks. Architect Albert Galleron was responsible for the design, whereas the building was completed in 1888. The concert hall is richly decorated with sculptures and frescoes, with excellent acoustics, is readily visited by foreigners, also because of the reasonably priced tickets. The Athenaeum's architecture refers to ancient buildings and from afar tourists are attracted by the view of pillars and the dome crowning the vault.
