There is Staszów near Kielce, and Kurozwęki with a palace near Staszów. According to legend, the founder of Kurozwęki was the brother of St. Wojciech - Poraj Sławnikowic. Certainly, first the castle of the fourteenth century, rebuilt into a palace in the eighteenth century, belonged to the Lanckoroński, Sołtyk and Popiel families (with a break during the PRL).
