The Szopienice-Borki nature and landscape complex is a refuge for many species of plants and animals, mainly waterfowl. The area is diversified in terms of habitats, creating favorable conditions for the existence and reproduction of many species of plants and animals. The banks of the ponds are overgrown with rushes, creating in places vast and hard-to-reach fields.
