Fast food is a kind of dish the preparation of which does not require too much time. It is usually served on the spot in quick service restaurants. Popular fast foods include hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, kebabs and casseroles. The name “fast food” often refers to the food available in stores in the form of "ready meals" that can be reheated in a microwave or an oven and in this category it is a must to mention breaded chicken with sauce and frozen pizza. Fast food is tasty and cheap but also not very healthy as it contains a lot of saturated fats and carbohydrates. Due to their high calorific value, uncertain origin of ingredients and a small amount of vitamins or minerals, it should not be eaten too often.
