There is nothing better than a cool drink with a lot of ice on hot summer days. If we add to it some mint and fresh fruits we get an additional effect of immediate refreshment and we will also supply the nutrients that we lose faster at high temperature. Moreover, raspberries stimulate the activity of sweat glands. It might seem that this is not desirable in the summer, but it is a must to remember that sweating is a natural reaction of the body to heat and it cools the body. Evaporation of moisture from the skin lowers its temperature and thereby – contrary to the discomfort that accompanies sweating – we feel slightly better.
