Mixture of salty snacks online puzzle

Crisps are the world’s most popular salty snack – these are thin slices of potato fried in deep fat and sprinkled with spice mixtures. It is not known exactly who and in what circumstances invented crisps. According to the most common version, they were created by accident – the owner of the restaurant who was upset with a customer complaining about the thickness of baked potatoes, sliced them so thinly that they were almost transparent. Amazingly, the fastidious customer enjoyed such potatoes and they were introduced into the menu of the restaurant. Nevertheless, this story is unlikely as it is believed it happened in 1853, while the oldest recipe for crisps comes from a cookbook published in 1832.
