Helsinki is the city located on the Gulf of Finland and is surrounded by the sea from three sides. There are also four large harbors: West, East, Cargo and South. In the neighborhood of the South Harbor there is a lively Helsinki market (Finnish: Kauppatori), which is the local center of trade and social life. There are small private yachts as well as large cargo ships and ferries mooring in the harbors of Helsinki. Tourists who want to see the capital of Norway may set off in Helsinki and visit the islands nearby as well – the views are breathtaking.
