Saint Martin is the Caribbean island that belongs to the archipelago of the Lesser Antilles on the Pacific Ocean. The island was discovered by Christopher Columbus is 1493, on Saint Martin’s Day. Today the area of the island is divided and there are the Dutch and French parts. The island has a tropical monsoon climate and there are coral reefs on the coast. The Cupecoy Beach is situated in the south-west of the island. The beach is attractive due to interesting rock formations, cliffs and caves but tourists are mostly attracted by bright, clean sand, turquoise water and beautiful views. The beach is surrounded by luxurious hotels, suites and clubs.
