Fiji is an island country located on the Pacific Ocean. The Republic of Fiji comprises an archipelago of over 300 islands, one third of which is uninhabited. These tropical islands are considered to be the paradise on Earth – warm and humid equatorial climate favors the growth of lush vegetation. Over two-thirds of the Fiji’s territory is overgrown with evergreen forests full of various species of trees and shrubs. All the island of the archipelago are surrounded by a beautiful coral reef from which some of the Fiji’s atolls are built of. Most of the beaches in Fiji are sandy ones and the ocean water is unusually clear, with a beautiful azure color. Due to the fact that Fiji’s natural beauty is omnipresent, it comes as no surprise that tourism, as well as farming and fishing, are the basis of the Fijian economy.
