Lupine on the shore of Tekapo Lake (New Zealand) online puzzle
Tekapo is a glacial lake on the South Island, New Zealand. Thanks to the so called glacial flour, i.e. tiny particles of rocks, the surface of water has an exceptional turquoise color. There are beautiful purple-pink flowers of lupine around the lake. The lake is an attractive base camp for tourists. Situated on the shores of Lake Tekapo is the Church of the Good Shepherd with an impressive view on the azure water from one of its windows. Near the church there is the statue of a dog placed on a stone pedestal – dogs are inseparable companions of shepherds working in the highlands.
