Siberian Husky is a breed that was bred by the Chukchi tribe, who live in Siberia. Dogs of this breed, although not very large, are very tough, strong and resistant to low temperatures. The Siberian tribes used them as hunting dogs, they also pulled sleds with the hunted game or wood. At the beginning of the 20thcentury they appeared in Canada, where they were quickly recognized as excellent sled dogs and within a few decades they became popular across North America. The breed was brought to Europe in the mid-20th century and quickly earned the sympathy not only in environments associated with the dogsled sport, but also among those looking for a family pet.
