Tiger is a large, predatory mammal from the Felidae family. This dignified animal enjoys the greatest respect in India, however, it is also present in the myths, symbols, art and literature of the whole Far East, which only testifies to the fact that the animal has fascinated for centuries. Tigers are now under protection, some of them live in the reserves. The black fur stripes are the equivalent of our fingerprints – each cat has a unique stripe pattern. Interestingly, tigers can swim well and young cubs enjoy playing in the water.
