Alaskan malamute is a breed of sled dogs, which initially accompanied the Inuit, people living in the arctic and subarctic areas. Malamutes were used to transport loads and hunting. These animals are very obedient and devoted to man, however, they are aggressive towards other dogs, instinctively rivaling them and demonstrating their domination. Malamutes are adapted to difficult conditions and hard work, therefore without the proper dose of movement they put on weight and become unruly out of boredom.
