Bean grains, considered as unusually nutritious and healthy (above all they are rich in protein), have lots of uses. Beans may be consumed in a fresh form (after cooking) or processed (frozen and canned). Bean grains may be cooked as dinner dishes (e.g. delicious soup), runner beans can be used as an additive to meats. What is interesting, some research provided evidence that beans have some healing properties - beans broth is diuretic, and it also lowers the sugar level in blood. For that reason it is sometimes used in curing diabetes and kidneys' diseases.
