Green olives, as well as black olives, are the fruits of a plant called European olive. Color of the olives depends on the season of collection – green olives are colleted the earliest. Olives are used at present in cuisines of the whole world, they are most often used in the Mediterranean cuisine. Olives are consumed raw, they are added to some drinks, marinated and used as and ingredient of salads and pizza. They are also used for pressing perfect, pure oil.
