Fortress Świnoujście Festung Swinemünde. One of the three, FORT Wschodni or GERHARD. It is located on the Wolin Island in Warszów, next to the lighthouse. Built in the mid-nineteenth century by Frederick Wilhelm Hohenzollern - King of Prussia. Since 2001, it has been a private Museum of Coastal Defense. Interesting exhibits are: a compressed air tank and fuses for the V-1 missile and fuses for the V-2 rocket - top left piece. <br />
We went through the drill in the fort and got first rank, so we're regiment reservists!
