Compact Computer 40 is a portable 8-bit microcomputer, which has been produced by Texas Instruments since 1983. Despite the fact that the forefather of present day laptops did not have a significant computing power as its timing processor was an 8Mhz clock, and RAM memory could save only 6 kilobytes of data, it had one undeniable advantage - one pair of AA batteries was enough for 200 hours of work.
