Primosten (Croatia) online puzzle
Primosten is a town located in the south of Croatia, between the Bays of Primosten and Raduca. In the past Primosten used to be a separate island near the mainland. In 1542, during the Turkish invasion, the town was fortified with towers and walls. Primosten was connected with the mainland by a bridge which was pulled up. When the Turks withdrew the bridge was replaced by ramps. The Croatian town is famous for vineyards, the photographs of which can be found in the UN headquarters in New York. In the centre of the town there is the church from the 15th century, which was restored in the 18th century. The temple is located on a hill, from which there is a wonderful view on the sea and the area.
